Joining the defense of the Storm Spire, Amaya introduced Janai to her nephew's, signing to them: "She thinks I'm cute, but won't admit it yet."Īfter the battle Amaya and Janai hold hands in the presence of the Dragon Queen, Zubeia as she is reunited with her son. They arrived too late to save Khessa, and having lost a sister herself, Amaya comforted a grieving Janai. When the dark mage Viren arrived in Lux Aurea, Amaya warned Janai he was not to be trusted and together they attempted to stop whatever he was plotting. She was then taken before the Sun Queen Khessa, Janai's sister, were she was made to endure a magical test that proved she was pure hearted. Taken to their capital of Lux Aurea, Amaya and Janai communicated through the interpreter Kazi, though Amaya remained defiant.
Unwilling to allow a fellow warrior to die in such a way, Amaya pulled Janai to safety and allowed herself to taken captive by Sunfire elves. She succeeded but found herself trapped on the opposite side of the path with Janai clinging to the side after being knocked back by the blast. Later they clashed again in a human outpost taken over by the Sunfire elves, which convinced Amaya to destroy the pathway with explosives. Relationships JanaiĪmaya and Janai meet when Amaya was scouting the breach between their lands and was ambushed by Sunfire Elf warriors, Amaya defeated the other elves but retreated when she couldn't beat Janai.
